"Oh, like its hard?" - Elle Woods(Legally Blonde)

Looking back at this quarter, I can’t help but reflect on what I’ve learned in my technology class, especially when it comes to web design. We spent a lot of time working with Microsoft FrontPage, and I’ve got to say, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. At first, web design seemed like something only IT's can do. I thought creating a website would be all about complex coding, but using FrontPage changed my POV.

What I learned was that web design isn’t as difficult as it seems. I learned about the parts of microsoft frontpage, the Title Bar, Menu Bar, Standard toolbar, Formatting, Webpage name, Tag name, Task pane, Webpage, Page view tabs, Downloading, these parts helped me to do my Frontpage faster. The WYSIWYG editor made it easier to design websites without having to deal with messy HTML code. The toolbars helped with everything from inserting images to formatting text. I also discovered how important it is to plan out your website and make sure everything looks neat. But of course, there were challenges, like getting the alignment right or fixing broken links. Sometimes I’d preview my site, and it wouldn’t look the same as it did in the design mode, which was frustrating. But I learned that mistakes are part of the process, and by experimenting and asking for help, I was able to overcome them.

Even though it was tough at times, I learned a lot about technology and how it can be used to create something cool. It showed me that with the right tools and persistence, anyone can create something great. I’m definitely more confident in my ability to design websites now, and who knows? Maybe one day, I’ll create my own website, whether for a personal project or for my future career.
