A Community full of ordered and unordered challenges.

    This quarter, I learned a lot, especially in coding. It was the easiest so far because I mastered ordered and unordered lists and gained new insights into the differences between Community-Based Research (CBR) and Applied Research. I also learned about HTML frames and nesting, which helped my team structure our web pages effectively. One of the highlights was our discussions with Ma’am Charleen, our practice teacher, who explained nested lists so well that I only made four mistakes on our quiz.  


    One challenge I encountered was understanding how nested HTML elements work, particularly when using multiple frames. Organizing information properly for our CBR project was also a struggle. I also had a hard time in coding especially we used css. I did have a hard time because these lessons is not discussed.


    To address these challenges, I practiced coding, reviewed examples, and sought guidance from my teachers and peers. For the CBR project, I worked closely with my groupmates to clarify our roles and improve organization. I also asked youtube for help and somehow managed to do well in our cbr coding.


Moving forward, I will continue enhancing my HTML skills and applying structured research methods as i can use them in the future. I also plan to be more proactive in seeking resources and collaborating effectively with my peers.

Learning is a choice. Either a peaceful battle or a tough one.

For the second quarter, I discovered more about myself and my classmates, especially in terms of our strengths and the areas where we struggle in school. While I didn’t master time management, I still managed to accomplish my tasks fairly well (or so I believe). I faced challenges in understanding lessons in math and basic electronics, but I found our ICT lessons relatively easy, particularly the activities we completed. So far, ICT has been my best-performing subject, with my highest score yet. After lunch, I often reflect on how much I enjoy attending our ICT class. Brainstorming Our research journey started with brainstorming ideas and assigning tasks. We carefully planned our methodology to ensure a smooth process.   Visiting the community We visited the town of Bulala, where we observed and interacted with the locals, learning about the art of burnay-making and its role in their livelihood. Documentation We documented every step of the burnay-making process to analyze its significance in local heritage and economy. Interviewing Interviewing the community members gave us valuable insights into their craft, challenges, and how burnay contributes to their economy and culture.   Assignment of Tasks          We divided the parts and wrote the research, to make ourworks easier and faster. After all of these, we presented our output last February 1, 2025. P.S: The title of this thematic is not our title in our research, i is just my way to engage audience.<3
