My ups and downs throughout the exciting birth of our creator.
The Christmas season is always a special time, and this year, my holiday was a mix of tradition, relaxation, creativity, and a bit of adventure. Looking back, it was a unique blend of highs and lows that made it truly memorable.
I began the my holiday with a tradition by completing the “Misa De Gallo”
for nine consecutive days. It was challenging and rewarding at the same time, and it helped me reflect on the true essence of Christmas faith, gratitude, and hope. After the bustling mornings of the Misa De Gallo, I spent much time resting. Sleep became my best friend during the holidays, especially when I got sick and lost my appetite. Being under the weather was not ideal, but it gave me time to reflect and brainstorm ideas for a research topic I'm excited to pursue. One of the highlights of my holiday was celebrating my parents’ anniversary last December 29 2024 in Cabugao. It was a simple yet meaningful gathering, filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family a reminder of what the season is truly about. I also got the chance to roam around the streets of Vigan, savoring their timeless charm. Inspired by the season and love for food, I even had the chance to make kimchi at home! It was great fun and super fulfilling, despite my first batch not turning out so great.LOL .Quiet days turned me to entertainment. I
completed the series of Squid Game 2, a show that would leave me breathless at how they would have it told with so much intensity, although i think the ending is pretty boring.
I found another Chinese drama called When I Fly Towards You, which had brought sweetness and warmth in a different way of a darker series like Squid Game.
After all of that, we took some photos as a family with out matching clothes.
Lastly, As a part of the “COYA” (Commission On Youth
Administration) We celebrated the yearly tradition of “pamaskong handog” for kids to play and enjoy while winning some prizes last december 25, 2024.
Although my Christmas holiday had its ups and downs, it was a meaningful blend of tradition, family, creativity, and relaxation. From spiritual fulfillment to cinematic escapes, it reminded me to cherish the little moments, even when things don't go as planned.
