New Year, New Me; New Journey, Old Memory

As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the journey that was 2024. A year filled with moments of joy, triumphs, challenges, and self-discovery. It’s incredible how time flies so fast but much we learn a lot in the span of 12 months, and as I recount the lessons this year has taught me, I feel nothing but gratitude.   One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned this year is to cherish the time spent with family. Looking back, it was a unique blend of highs and lows that made it truly memorable.     I began the my holiday with a tradition by completing the “Misa De Gallo” for nine consecutive days. It was challenging and rewarding at the same time, and it helped me reflect on the true essence of Christmas faith, gratitude, and hope. Being under the weather was not ideal, but it gave me time to reflect and brainstorm ideas for a research topic I'm excited to pursue. One of the highlights of my holiday was celebrating my parents’ anniversary last December 29 2024 in Cabugao. It was a simple yet meaningful gathering, filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of fami...
